Just 50
miles up the road is Girdwood. The only thing in this tiny town is a ski resort
that sounded pretty cool. We pulled into
their $10 a night rv parking lot to check things out. Well…..things were not as they appeared on
paper. The ski resort is 1 mile from the
parking lot. They made it sound like
it’s right near the resort. Not so. But it was a beautiful day so we enjoyed the
2 mile round trip walk. Nothing to see
here. The resort is nice enough, but not
what I was expecting. We will move on to
Eagle River tomorrow.
