We spent two days visiting with Norm’s childhood friend Marc
and his sweet mom at their lovely home in Albuquerque. One day Marc took us to tour the Petroglyph
National Monument. It turned out to be a
beautiful day. We enjoyed a few hikes
around the Petroglyphs. On top of one of
the Mesa’s we had a gorgeous view of Albuquerque. And what interesting images carved on the
lava rocks. Afterward Marc took us on a
drive through Old Town Albuquerque.
We’ll have to plan a trip back there to walk around the shops next time
we’re in the area. Kathryn cooked us
another delicious meal when we returned home.
We fell in love with Albuquerque.
Beautiful views, mountains all around including beautiful views from Marc’s
back yard. Wow. We can’t wait to return.
