We worked our winter gate attendant job at Russell Park on
Lake Georgetown for the 2nd consecutive winter. It is such a nice little park, very
quiet. We love it here. It’s fairly close to the grandkids and we see
them as much as we can Our gate job went smooth. We completed our 2 year contract and plan to
bid again next winter. They have gone to
3 year contracts now so if we get the contract we will be committed for the next
3 winters. Our friends that we met and
camp hosted with over the summer in Ventura, CA got the summer contract at
Russell park this summer. It was
wonderful seeing them again.
